Seventeen sliders and two switches, in one OpenFX node. Each panel below is drawn from the shipping plugin — the defaults are its defaults, and every knob sits where the plugin puts it.
A hue window centred on skin, with its own width and a highlight allowance so a lit cheek stays inside the mask instead of falling out of it. Clean and Smooth tidy the edge. Nothing is rotoscoped and nothing is tracked — the subject moves, the mask moves with them.
Show Skin Mask puts the matte on the viewer, so you set the window by looking at it.
Exposure, warmth and saturation applied only inside the mask, so a face can be lifted without dragging the wall behind it. Tone Unify pulls uneven patches toward each other rather than flattening the whole face to one value.
All four sit at zero on load — the node does nothing until you ask it to.
Retouch runs at a size you set, and Texture decides how much of the original skin detail is written back over the result — which is the difference between a retouch and a plastic face. Blemish Detect narrows the work to the spots that actually differ from the skin around them.
Retouch Texture defaults to 0.50 — half the original grain returns on top of every heal.
Soften carries its own radius, so it scales to the shot rather than to the pixel grid. The same setting reads the same on a wide and on a close-up, which is what lets one grade travel across a scene.
A single dry/wet across every control on this page. At 0 you are looking at your untouched input — which is how you judge the work — and anywhere between lets you dial the whole node back without unpicking a single setting.
Global Blend ships at 1.00. Status reports the licence state; there is nothing to type.
